I am curious to see how the contrast in your been-there-done-that-map looks like. If you will make one… Your drawing makes me think of the laboratory space of the 30 km border zone, and of course 'The Green Belt' as introduced by Petra. Actually a mapping of the edge involving a larger variety of factors would be an extremely interesting way to approach the territory of peoples' diplomacy.
